Chief Master Sergeant Paul B. Barbee is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Air Force Resilience Directorate, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon. He is the principal enlisted advisor to the Director, Integrated Resilience on all matters relating to the strategic planning, research and development and implementation of Air Force resiliency programs to optimize Airman Performance. Prior to assuming his current position, Chief Barbee served as Superintendent, 14th Air Support Operations Squadron, Pope Field, North Carolina.
Chief Barbee grew up in Clinton Missouri and entered the Air Force in 1996. After starting his career as a Computer Systems Operator, he volunteered for and completed TACP training in 2000. His career includes assignments in PACAF, ACC, AFSOC, and Joint Commands. Throughout this period, he has held decisive leadership positions at the team, flight, detachment, squadron and joint special operations task force levels. Chief Barbee has completed numerous combat deployments in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM and NEW DAWN.
