Airmen go the distance during National POW/MIA Recognition Day

In 1979, the United States Congress passed a resolution authorizing National POW/MIA Recognition Day to be observed across the country on military installations, on ships at sea, at state capitols, at schools and at veterans’ facilities. The 347th Operations Support Squadron hosted the 24-hour ruck march to pay tribute to U.S. service members who have been captured or have gone missing in the line of duty.
