Chief Master Sergeant Bruce M. Reno is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Air Force Integrated Resilience Directorate, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon. As the principal enlisted advisor to the Director of the Department of the Air Force's Integrated Resilience Office, he provides expert counsel on the strategic planning, communication, research and development, evaluation and analysis, and policy implementation of integrated resilience programs. These programs are designed to optimize human performance for over 600,000 Total Force Airmen. Chief Reno leads and coordinates key initiatives that inform leadership and developmental efforts, directly addressing the priorities of the Secretary of the Air Force, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. He is also a trusted advisor to the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force and the Air Force Senior Enlisted Leader Council.
Chief Reno is originally from Chicago, Illinois and entered the Air Force in December 1997. He graduated from Medical Materiel Apprentice Technical Training School at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in March 1998. Chief Reno has an extensive background in Medical Logistics and has served in several leadership positions in the Medical Logistics career field. He previously served as a Professional Military Education Instructor, facilitating courses at both the Airman Leadership School and Noncommissioned Officer Academy and as a First Sergeant. Additionally, he was the MAJCOM Functional Manager for 116 logisticians for AFMC and USSF collectively. Chief Reno has deployed in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. His past assignment locations include Texas, Republic of Korea, Florida, Turkey, Alaska, Oklahoma, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia.
Prior to his current position, Chief Reno served as the Interim Chief, Enlisted Force Development, Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
