Colonel KRISTINA L. DRIGGERS

Col Kristina Driggers is IMA to the Commander of Detachment 9, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. She acts as the Reserve Advisor to the Commander, who is responsible for synchronizing installation and mission support capabilities, to include oversight, guidance, training and resources in support of 70,000 personnel in 17 wings under Headquarters Air Mobility Command. This includes personnel readiness, mission support manpower, financial services and resources, installation engineering, physical security, and base communications plant maintenance for the support of more than $24 billion in facilities and infrastructure at 23 continental U.S. and overseas en route locations in support of both AMC and Air Forces Transportations strategic airlift mission. Col Driggers is also Acting Deputy Director for the Department of the Air Force Integrated Resilience Office, responsible for all matters relating to the strategic planning, research and development, and implementation of the Air Force resiliency programs to optimize Airmen and Guardian performance.

Col Driggers enlisted in the Air Force in July 1997 and graduated from technical training at Shepard AFB, Texas in September 1997. She was a Medical Administration Services troop at Eglin Air Force Base. She joined the Reserve in July 2001 at Duke Field where she promoted to Staff Sergeant and was selected for the Commissioning Airmen Program. She graduated from the Academy of Military Science at McGhee-Tyson in February 2003 and served as an Equal Opportunity Officer for Duke Field. She transitioned to the Selective Service System from 2005 until 2007 and went on to work on the Air Staff, where she stood up the Office of Functional Area Manager Oversight for Personnel. She deployed to CENTCOM Headquarters in 2010 for 18 months and took a follow-on position as the Operations Officer and “Acting” Commander for the 927th Force Support Squadron at MacDill. Col Driggers supported Operations NOBLE EAGLE, IRAQI FREEDOM, and ENDURING FREEDOM. She went on to serve as the Chief of Force Transformation for the Office of the Air Force Reserve, where she was instrumental to the development of the National Commission on the Structure of the Air Force directed Total Force operational utilization and stress measures reported to Congress. Col Driggers moved on as the Chief of Individual Reservist (IR) Operations in Stuttgart, Germany to manage the ADCON of 318 EUCOM, AFRICOM, USAFE-AFAFRICA and NATO IR’s. She went on to serve as the Director of Personnel and Commanders Support Staff for 22nd Air Force, Dobbins ARB, Georgia where she was responsible for the direct oversight of Force Management, Career Development, and Training programs for 7 Wings and 7 Direct Report Units. Col Driggers departed the 22nd to take Command of the 94th Force Support Squadron, Dobbins ARB, Georgia as the host Wing for a multi-tenant installation. Prior to her current position, Col Driggers was Executive Officer to the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs where she supported the oversight of manpower, military and civilian personnel programs, Reserve component affairs and readiness for 700,000 Total Force members of the Department of the Air and Space Forces.
