Synchronizing services: EO, SAPR and SVC co-locate

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany --

The 86th Airlift Wing Equal Opportunity office, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office and the Special Victims Council are relocating to Building 404, Room 2 on Ramstein in a shared space behind the Dental Squadron.

“This move ensures seamless communication and coordination of services among agencies that work side by side advocating for members of the KMC community,” said Kelly Dominguez, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.

Dominguez said the new location will include a space specifically for survivors to meet with the victim advocates in a calm, non-intimidating environment that doesn’t feel like an office.

Heather Bradley, 86 AW Equal Opportunity director said she’s overjoyed about the move.

“Now, we’ll be on the same installation with a majority of our mission partners; we’re collocated with the SAPR team, another helping agency we frequently work with,” Bradley said. “We’re able to synergize our efforts for support and share our resources. A hand-off can be done quickly and with comfort, if required. Our collocation is vital to anyone in need of our services.”

EO will have limited services during the week of June17-21, and plan to be up and running on Monday, June 24. The SVC is open, SAPR will be open for business June 17.

“The heartbeat of our business is connecting with people,” Bradley said. “Whether it’s providing options for resolving conflict, adding value to teams and individuals, or supporting leaders, we’re able to respond with fewer barriers, namely distance.”
